A Flash of Department of Computer Engineering

Nowadays the necessity of electronic and computer is very important and also for the future to be the bread winner for the national economical development. The using of electronic and computer nowadays are very important, it is fully understood by the government, that the government itself declared that university development in electronic and computer major has become one of the priorities, together with other major, such as, engineering, behavior, management, accounting, and art.

Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya was found on 1988 in the major of electronics and they consider that it is important to make a new department of computer engineering, which called department of computer engineering. This is a special major that combined electronics and computer engineering together on its courses.

Vision

PSTK have a future mission to be the excellent professional engineering education center in the computer engineering area to create the under graduates student who were ready to compete on the era of globalization.

Mission

    Creating the professional workers for computer engineering program with software and hardware competence, computer networking, multimedia technology, microcontroller and interface.

    Creating the open minded under graduates students and ready to compete in the era of globalization, by creating the good academic atmosphere for the students.

    Actively involve in expanding and upgrading on the polytechnic education system in Indonesia, particularly on computer engineering.

    Hold a research applying activity of computer engineering which obviously can solve the computer engineering problems and also hold some social activities.

    Expanding and implementing the moral value of academic.
